1. I'm signed up, logged in, but I just don't get it?

OK lets do a basic tour: type the name of a favorite TV show into the search box. From those results, click on a title or the picture and you'll get some information about the show. You can look up episodes by clicking the "Seasons & Episodes" tab. There, if you click on the box next to Season 1 for example you can see all the episodes. In the list you'll see if there are any downloads available, comments, ratings and more. Clicking on the episode title takes you to the episode page where you can see downloads available from all different places on the internet, where available.

That's basically it, but if you make this show a "favorite" it gets added to your list of top shows which on the "Your Favorites" page makes getting the newest episodes even easier.

2. Alright, I get it now. What's with the friends?

If you invite friends to join, and they set up favorites, you can see what they think is good TV and you might like it too. You can also recommend shows to your friends on each show or episode page.

3. I clicked a download link and only got a tiny "torrent" file. What's that? What do I do with it?

This file acts like a bookmark to where the full file is being shared by other people on the internet somewhere. You need an application to make use of it, such as uTorrent or Azureus, which will use this torrent file to find and download the full file by building it up from small fragments shared across many people.

These applications are smart enough the get fragments from people who have the best network connections and often seek out those file fragments that are most rare for the torrent, improving the process for everyone else.

4. I found a bug or something is broken, what shall I do?

This is a beta test, so some things might not work as you expect or work at all. Send us a report of what you did and what happened from the feedback page.

5. What do you do with my email address?

We will never spam you, we won't sell your address to spammers or marketers, we won't use it for anything except communications between TIOTI and you. Promise.

6. My favorite show isn't in the database

We catch a lot, but not all of them. You can submit a missing show request on the feedback page.
